World Red Cross Day: May 8 1948 International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day
 
World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on May 8 - the day has been celebrated in all countries. The first recipient of the Nobel Committee of the Red Cross, Henry tiyunant  birthday (May 8, 1828) Day 1948 - recognized as a special day of the year.
